Each year during convention we take a pause in our fun, in our business, in our joy with being with brothers to remember those who have walked to the station of the Senior Councilor and beheld the sunset that ushers in the day that shall never end and we pray for them.
DeMolay may be the first time that you as DeMolays see this practice. It is long been a tradition in cultures across the world to remember those who have passed. For us as DeMolays, it is a chance to remember the incredible positive impact they had on those around them. St. Bernard of Chartres roughly said approximately that we living in the modern world stand on the shoulders of giants. By doing this we remember their contributions.

Each year we are asked “well who can we submit?” The answer is simple: Any of our departed brothers, sisters, advisors, family and friends who mattered to you and/or your chapter. If you’re not sure if someone was submitted, please feel free to submit them.
