Dear DeMolay Brothers, Sweetheart Sisters, “Moms” “Dads” and Friends
Our state charity this year is the Make-a-Wish foundation. Make-a-Wish gives children and teens facing serious illness an opportunity to have a wish come true. Some examples of these wishes include visits by celebrities such as Chris Pratt, or the experience of being a firefighter, or a pilot for a day, or a once in a lifetime experience. These wishes are a bright light in the lives of the children and teens as they battle their illness.
In our ritual, we say “May we ever realize that we are brothers of the helpless and suffering and rejoice in every call to the relief of pain or the alleviation of sorrow.” This is a reminder that our obligations are to help others, especially young people that may not be our DeMolay brothers.
To make donating easy a link has been set up for donations here:

We would like to challenge every DeMolay and Sweetheart to make a donation to this charity. Every gift matters and can help make a dream come true. Every person who donates $10 towards Make-a-Wish will be presented with a pop socket for your phone that will read: “I helped grant a wish!” The pop sockets will be sent to the chapters for presentation.
Every Chapter who secures $100 or more in donations will join the State Charity Circle and will receive special recognition at our annual state convention. If 10 brothers from a chapter each donates $10 you’re there!
Let us heed the words of the 9 O’clock interpolation and rejoice in this opportunity to help others!
Thank you!
